"Breakthrough!" - 2016 Theme - Preached by Bishop Perry on Sunday, January 3, 2016
Text: Philippians 4:8, Corinthian 10:4
There is a breakthrough that we must walk in this year!
A Breakthrough - A defensive thrush that penetrate through a defensive line of warfare.
Breaking through the carnality and the flesh, and coming into a great knowledge of the things of God.
The enemy will have you in the house of God, lying to you. Your mind everywhere but on the things of God, the service, or the Word of God. But you have to breakthrough...cast down those imagination. It can be self, the love of self that we need to break away from. It can be your children, who have you wrapped up in worry and fear instead of trusting them to God. It can be fear, health, a need a for direction in life...there is a need for a breakthrough.
God has given you a purpose, and He wants you to know your purpose in life.
You have to go through...whatever you have to go through. Breakthrough does not mean you are free from problems, that you wont have trails. But it is knowing how to have a thanksgiving in your heart...to into the gates with a praise and worship.
What is the true issue that is hindering me from breaking through? Sometimes it's because we want to be in control. We must find out what is keeping us back...
